Founder & CEO

As a child, my brother and I used to stage concerts whenever we were stuck indoors. It always began with the music. I would hover over the radio, sometimes for hours, ready to record our favorite songs onto blank cassette tapes. Once we had a playlist, we'd transform our space— hanging sheets and blankets to create a stage, picking out costumes, rehearsing choreography inspired by music videos, and setting a date for the big show. On performance day, we'd entertain an imaginary sold-out crowd. This early passion for creativity shaped my path and inspired me to seek formal training in theater, music and dance.

Growing up in East Orange and Newark, NJ, and attending the nation's first public high school for the arts, I discovered the transformative power of creation. This strength fueled my move to Dallas, where I found the courage to start anew. It's this strength that drives my pride in supporting LGBTQIA+ communities worldwide. From this foundation, Ignite Entertainment Group was born—a black-and-queer-owned brand dedicated to challenging norms and celebrating freedom through bold entertainment that defies convention. I firmly believe in the power of art to inspire change.

We stand in solidarity with those in Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Haiti, and everywhere else fighting for liberation. Healing and growth happen together as a community.
